About the Dye:
Palo de Águila - Alnus Acuminata- is a native tree to Mexico and the bark used in dyeing is collected around our home forest. It is such a noble endemic tree to the Sierra Sur; if a branch or trunk is broken it grows up a new very fast, the leafs restore degraded soil and it has medicinal properties as well. The bark is characterized with antibacterial and antifungal properties.
